List of all the known animals in Jamaa

Non-Member Animals

Bunny

Bunnies have always been nonmember and have been out since 2010. They are small with large ears. Their dance is a hip-hoppy dance with their ears. They are popular, and many people are seen with a bunny or a few bunnies. Bunnies also have a bunny only party. Many people who do 'adopting' in jamma go for a bunny to adopt as a baby or get adopted as one.

Wolf

Wolfs have also always been nonmember and have been out since 2010. Wolves are a popular choice for girls and boys and are commonly used in wolf packs and clans. Wolves also have a wolves only party, which  Arctic Wolves are also allowed to enter. Wolves tend to be bossy animals who often dislike seals.

Tiger

Tigers are another nonmember choice which has been out since 2010. Tigers are also seen decorated as cheetahs, sometimes. Tigers are a part of animal jams Big Cat campaign, along with leopards and lions. Tigers are the only nonmember and nongiftcard choice of the Big Cat campaign. Tigers are not the most popular of animal but many people have them.

Koala

Koalas are a less popular choice that came out in 2010. Koalas are small and the sleep adorably. Not many people have koalas, one of the person with a lot of koalas is Mousechester. Koalas dance is a hula. Koalas have come back from their journey with their home territory! Koalas tend to be cheeky little things like this:

Koalas have recently had a boom of population in jamma because you couldnt buy them for a while but they are back.

Panda

Pandas are another less popular choice from beta times. Many people *not me* hate pandas and call all pandas fat when they see them. Pandas tend to be newbies to jamma so don't quite know their way round so be nice to them and welcome them to jamma!

Monkey

Monkey was the final animal from beta. Monkies were endangered for a while, but animal jam brought them back since we donated TONS of gems to wildlife. Monkies have always been uncommon, even though tons of people were begging for them to come back. A week after they came back after endangerment, monkies were uncommon again. This time was before I was banned, by my parents, and I spent hours earning gems in games and then gave them all to monkeys! I gave over 100000, literally! Monkeys were my favourite animal at the time.

 Seal

Seals are another nonmember option. They used to be member when they first came out. They are one of the three non-member animals able to go underwater. Seals are somewhat common among nonmembers, but many of them choose turtles, penguins or choose to not even have a ocean animal at all. Seals are becoming more popular again now.

 Penguin
Penguins are a newer nonmember choice, and can go on land and water. Penguins came out Feburaryish 2012 and became nonmember in about 2012 about September.

Sea Turtles 

Sea turtles are underwater only. They were member for a year and just became nonmember very recently. Sea turtles are the only underwater-only option for nonmembers.

Sea Turtles are good for glitches this is how:
If you are a retired member and have two animals make one a sea turtle, then turn into it, then delete your non member land animal, then log out and log in again, then you can be a non member member animal!

Members-Only

Racoon

 Racoons came in about 5/03/13. They are member only. If I am honest raccoons tend to be younger jammers and new members. They also tend to be you know *knocks head*. Raccoons are the newest animal but were on of the ones which the first two days they came out they were everywhere but three days and onwards they turn quite rare.

 

 Elephant

Elephants were the first member only option. They aren't very popular and not many people have them.
They recently came back from exploring.

 Rhino

Another uncommon member only animal is the Rhino. Have recently come back from exploring


 Crocodile

Another Member-Only option is the Crocodile. Most people who have crocodiles put dragon masks and wings on them to make them dragons.

Dolphin and Shark

Dolphins and Sharks came out when the oceans came out in November 2011. They are underwater-only animals and are seen in a lot of members inventories, but they are rarely used. Dolphins are the animal which many Members use when they rarely go under water.

Horse

Horses are a choice from January 2012. Many non-members wish horses were available for every jammer.
Many members make their horses Unicorns, Pegasuses or My Little Ponies. Many people also have horse barns so they can make a stable.  Horses also have a Horses Only party.

 Octopus

Octopuses are another member only underwater option. They have 8 tentacles *well DUH* and are semi-popular underwater.

Fox

Fox is a popular member option which many people want to be non-member. Foxes are very popular among members and tons of members have them. They are like THE member animal.

I have never seen a member without a fox, except when I was on there when they didn't exist!

 Giraffe

Giraffes are another member only option. Giraffes are the tallest animal on animal jam, and if you put on a leaf necklace, a spike collar or a lei multiple of those necklaces will go on its long neck. They are somewhat popular, and their dance is the shuffle. They have recently come back from exploring.

King of Jungle

King of the Jungle *AKA Lion* gift cards were the first to come out, in Novemberish 2011. You can buy them on Animal Jam Outfitters or at Toys R Us, Safeway and Best Buy. The King of the Jungle also comes with a 3 month membership, a free castle den and 15,000 gems.

Arctic Wolf

Arctic Wolf gift cards came out October 2012. You can buy them at Animal Jam Outfitters or American Wal-Marts. It comes with a 3 month membership, Access to the Arctic Wolf avatar and 15,000 gems.

Arctic wolves are like normal wolves but with a bigger structure and a fluffier neck. It looks more like a husky then a arctic wolf, since arctic wolves are really just wolves that are white. They can go to wolves only party and people who have a choice of getting any gift card membership many would choose Arctic wolf. Arctic wolfs were the second gift card animal in jamma.

Snow Leapard

Came out November 2012.  Snow Leopard gift cards are available at Animal Jam Outfitters or American Target locations. The gift card comes with 15,000 gems, a 3 month membership and an exclusive Snow Leopard avatar which looks like a smaller sized tiger.

Kangaroo

Kangaroos came out in June 2013.

Not much is known where you can buy them yet but most people say you can only buy the giftcard in Australia. BUT you can buy them in the Diamond shop for 10 Diamonds:
